02The detail
Anatomy of a scenario
A good scenario is not a theme — it's a setting, two motivated roles and a first line that starts the clock.
Every card on the board of AI girlfriend scenarios carries the same four parts: a slugline that puts you somewhere concrete, her role with a motive attached, your role with a reason to be there, and her opening line. The parts matter because they remove the three ways chats die — nowhere to be, nothing at stake, and nobody willing to go first.
Range is the second half of the craft. The board runs from slice-of-life (the coffee cart, the shared umbrella) through slow-burn romance and reunion drama to full film noir where she is definitely lying about something. The same co-star plays differently in different scenarios: Selene hosting dinner and Selene in the noir are two distinct evenings.
And nothing on the board is a rail. The scenario sets the first minute, not the plot; from your first reply the scene belongs to the two of you, and a bracketed stage direction can bend it anywhere — including into a scenario nobody wrote.
What works well
- 120+ openings, so the blank-page problem never appears
- Each card shows setting, both roles and her first line before you commit
- The same cast reads differently across scenarios
- Scenarios are starting points, not scripts on rails
- New boards rotate in without wiping saved scenes
Worth knowing first
- The deepest packs — long arcs, noir serials — sit in the optional upgrade
- A scenario can't fix a one-word reply; you still have to play
- Explicit scenario lines live only past the 18+ NSFW gate
- All co-stars are fictional AI characters, written as adults

Three shelves of the board
The registers people open most, from warmest to darkest.

Slow burn: scenes built on waiting — the answer matters more because it's late.

Noir: she needs an alibi and you need better judgement. Nobody has either.

Slice of life: small scenes with low stakes and disarmingly high retention.
04In practice
Picking well on the first night
Start with the register you actually want, not the one that sounds impressive. If you had a loud day, the night-market first date will play better than the noir. The board is sorted by mood for exactly this reason — scenario choice is ninety percent of whether the first scene lands.
Then let one scene finish before opening five more. A scenario pays off in its second half, when her role has had time to complicate. Players who sample twelve openings in a night remember none of them; the ones who play two to the end come back tomorrow.
